Love the dark...darkness. I adore the idea of a Reaper, but the ones I created are not the traditional skeleton with a scythe. They are more like Supers.
Also, I like the way the scythe's blade curves and seems similiar, but larger than, the moon's edge. It would have been confusing and a bit more intruiging, though if you had used a cresent moon there.

CRITIQUE TIME:
I especially love the shading and the glow effect you have around that moon, and the shading detail you put on the Reaper's opposite side (away from the moon) HOWEVER, that's not all. The concealed face gives the Reaper a more.... mysterious and intimidating out look, but my favorite thing you did here was by far the scythe. I don't know how you came up with such an amazing idea, and a brilliant design for it, but it is pure greatness. The reflection of the moon's light off the blade to give it a similar appearance was straight up genus, and the old wooden staff I guess can resemble how old this particular reaper is.
I must fav. this masterpiece. You did an incredible job on this, and if I may ask, how long did it take to make this work of art?

it took me about 2-3 days, (an hour or two in a day,)
(i've allways been fascinated with the reaper, ever since i was a kid, theres something magical/mistical within him that draws my attention)

dido, though in a story i'm working on, there is such a massive and concerning conflict going on with the mortals, that it even required the supernatural to take action. So reapers in my story are more.... er..... less intimidating then the common reaper we know today, though, that goes on to say that they are still soul collectors and far surpass mortals in my story.

anyway, like I said before, you did amazing on this, and I don't fav. often, but this certainly earned one from me.
