oh i only used pmxeditor!!
here is how i did it!!:
first i had to move the entire base (including all the bones, physics, and joints) up, to my ideal height
and then select the legs (including the needed bones and physics) and stretch them along the y-axis
until the legs meet the floor!! (you will have to adjust little things tho)

you should always do it symmetrically!! a tip for convenience: you can look for a '正' botton on the bottom of the screen in the view window, click on it if it has not been clicked, then you should see the model in a more symmetric way!!
