Kira was put to sleep june 25.

I've never had a dog, so i don't know what it's like to lose one. I would love to have a German Shepherd.

Definately. My dog Cyra was struggling to walk and breathe the last few days. It was the best for her. At least they aren't suffering anymore. *hugs* German Shepherds are the best dogs anyone can have.

Sounds like you did here a favoure, it is never a nice thing to do, but the fact that it's done for the right reason helps the pain!

It's not a nice thing to do, but I do feel better about having done it. It was horrible to watch her those last few days.
I'm sorry for your Kira too. But at least none of them are suffering anymore. You're right, it's never just a dog, they mean everything to us.

Look it upp! the breed is called Belgian shepherd, and there is 4 ounder breeds! l had a tervuren before, (one of the four) there are a picture of here in my gallery! defenetly a dog to look at!
Thay are also used quite often by the cops and military!

l have been with all my animals to the vet, and when you see the prosess you will feel better about doing it! it's calm, clean and painfree!
we didnt even taik our dogs innside, but had them in the car, on there blanket' and inn our lap.

Oh my. I am so very sorry and I feel your pain. If you are watching me, you probably know about what happened a few weeks ago for me. I feel your pain. Mine was a German Shepherd mix too. When I get into a postion where I can get another dog I really want a german sherherd again. Such wonderful loyal animals. The quote says it all.

l dont think l will get anather German Shepherd, just becouse l think the breed is to destroyd by over breeding! there are too match deseases HD, AD, Skinn, back, mantality...
l want a malinois, l had a tervuren before, one of the 4 brlgian shepherds, lock like a German shepherd, but almost no deseases!
ore a mix of some kind!
the breed is realy not that important to me, as long as the dog is good!

That is mostly the same with me, I just want a loyal dog that can handle other animals and people without too much diffiuclutly. I really want one that is pretty easy to train too. We are looking for one to get in a few years that is small with short hair and can handle cats very well and is easy to train. So that should be an intresting find!

there are 4 types of belgian shepherd, with diferent coat!
l've had a tervuren before. the malinois is used quite a lot of the military and police, insted of the German shepherd. take a lock!

the only thing that might be a "downer" with the belgian is that the breed can be a bit nervus if it's not proper traind upto humans when it's young! like most shepherds!
