The original skull material is mounted separately right next to the full skeletal mount but the postcranial elements in this mount are, by and large, the originals. The reconstructed bits are colored differently than the original fossil, which is helpful.Related content

Hi! No this is Peck's Rex (nicknamed Montana's Rex) real fossil displayed at the Museum of the Rockies.
