Hmmm.... It looks like you took some cardboard, and cut holes in it, posibly with a knife or corkskrew, and put your fingers in it, and put on blood. Is the blood real or fake?

I've looked at this picture many times... and I need to know....How did you do it!? It obviously isn't photo-shopped in,though there is a slight chance, it almost looks like you used landscape paper, soaked it, shoved your fingers through, and added more blood for effects. But I know that's probably not it...this is Bloody Brilliant! (pun fully intended)

You pretty much nailed it. Well done.
I cut holes in the cardboard at the back of a sketch pad (when I say cut, I mean stabbed with a corkscrew to get a tattier effect), painted it black, through went the fingers, on went the blood. Extremely simple. The blue-ish tint is just the reflection of the sky against my crappy paintwork.

Thanks, I've always been good at puzzles. Painting it black made a big difference as to painting it red, what I've seen so many others do. And I think the blue adds an interesting touch.
