I agree that Gotenks would easily give Broly a run for his money and pretty much curb stomp his ass if Broly were only in the Legendary Super Saiyan form. But because of the zenkai boost he received before he died, which led him to attain super-saiyan 3 in hell, AND the fact that his ki continuously grows stronger the longer he fights.. Gotenks honestly wouldn't win this battle, I don't care who tries to justify him winning. Besides all that, Gotenks at super saiyan 3 has a time limit of less than 30 minutes due to the amount of energy Super-Saiyan 3 takes to use.

When goku absorbed that energy everyone was half dead and in their base form meaning Goku only had about double the power he began with, Cell was basically spat out their power with ease (cell jrs) and he still had to power up. When broly fought Gohan, Gohan was alot weaker then when he faught cell can was only ssj1, if he was ssj2 Goten's kamehameha wouldnt of even made a difference.
Base Gotenks is probably stronger then SPCell so BASE Gotenks>SPCell>Lssj Broly so clearly ssj3 Gotenks>Lssj3 Broly.
Just because Broly is lssj doesnt mean he's unbeatable which both realy broly movies have proved
