enough bitching! i'm done! i finished him tonight cleaned up the smuges from him bouncing round my art folder for a few years and spots from my dirty old scanner. hes too big for my scanner so i had to put him together on photoshop (and i'm a littel drunk) if anyone can see anything wrong with the joins tell me and i'll fix him then resubmit.thanks!
The photo i chose to draw him from was Ozzfest 2002 on stage in Holland.

It's drawn very well, particularly the body, but the face looks much more like Phil Collins than Maynard. I wouldn't be able to tell this was him.

i put the border on as a cheeky refrence to how he was painted in the photograph i drew it from i couldnt exactly show how he was painted with my pencil.

Yeah the sahding is really awesome & the troso looks great, maybe a little too bulky for maynard, but still good...His face just doesnt look like maynard, he kind of reminds me of that bald guy from the shield, I don't know what it is & sorry that I can't be more constructive...but I really do like it anyway & I can see you put a tone of effort into it, so it's a fav

You know your maynard well most people dont see pass the shading, my sketchy drawing i did a long time ago i gave to my tool nut friends, the drawing looks like him allot i'll probably do another if i get a decent photo to work from. But you know maynard and his dislike for cameras lol.

thanks i was thinking of doing that but i liked the sharpness of the contrast it was hard to tranceferinto black and white as he was painted blue and red...for some strange reasion best known to himself...lol

I wish I knew there was a MJK contest. I so would have entered a drawing. Because ... as I'm sure you know through all the cryptic messages, the mass media coverage of the Michael Jackson Trial, the latest sightings of interdimmensional beings, and through various subliminal messages put in Kellog's brand cereals, Maynard is, in fact, our lord and master ... and it would be the least I could do in honor of our master.
