messed around with SAI and wanted to draw Dewott so here.also, this was going to be Sirus *however you spell it xD* fanart for *HailfireVulpes but i felt like there was no place to add the headband thing xD

i really like the background; it looks like he might be in a dark part of the water and the water pulse attack is lighting it up.
i like the emotion you were able to show in the face, but i think perhaps using a smaller brush for the eyes/nose/ears would make it a lot clearer and neater. the head also seems a bit small in comparison to the body.
the shading is good; however the shading on the paws seems a bit messy and off. the shading on the yellow part of the tail also seems a bit odd.

Now I do have some critiques, but nothing too major. Just simple anatomy errors.
For the pros;
The background it done beautifully! I an tell you managed to use the brush textures on SAI in a good way.
The highlights are a bit too bright xD But I can tell the lighting and shadings are in the right place :3
Lineart is very smooth, see nothing wrong with that xD
Now for anatomy, The head does seem a bit too small compared to the body xD Along with the haunches, but the Dewott legs seem to be like that on it's own. Shading is amazing, highlights need a bit work, nothing much ;3
Otherthan that, this is amazing!

Yeah like what echo said its great. Just some things. But an artist like you can always improve each painting. Say like my friend *Kingk22art . His style of his OC changes every drawing. Even in MVS change. o0o
