~eashuutell me what you think about this picture...i'm still unsure if i like it at all.
i'm doing some more lighting experimentation tonight and try to improve on this style.

this photo is very Bill Henson -ish. i do agree that the piercings are a bit intrusive though. i like the texture of his shoulder / arm..it's great.

Dramatic Chiaroscuro...but to be honest, the facial decorations (Piercings) take away from the drama of the picture as a whole. They break up the shadows and become a focal point.

i do agree, but he's such a good model and we pretty much live together so it's fairly convinient... when we do some more experimenting i'll get him to take his piercings out hehe.
