My stupid scanner killed some of the color.
I just wanted to draw Hinata. She's so cute! This is her some time during the time skip between the first part of the series and shippuden, when she was growing out her hair. She's about 13-14 in this drawing. I like using wind-blown leaves and such to create a sense of depth.

I heard this song randomly on iTunes radio and thought it was pretty. Listening to it one day I was inspired to draw Hinata. Even though I didn't/don't really know the translation, I knew 'sore ga ai deshou' means something like 'that's love, right?'.

here's some of the translation:

I feel you so close by me, I guess that's love
Because you know how much pain tears can bring
I want to find a smile in your transparent eyes
