Unfortunately my HDD crashed and I have lost my wips and references Either way I wanted to share this piece and would like to thank the stock community of Deviantart for their references and commitment. Hluk:
Relatively young for a Valkyrie, she's one of the luckiest of her species, as was proven during the Ragnarok, when the traitor God Loki casted his entire volley of spells on her. Miraculously, she and her regiment of Einherjar were completely unhurt, enabling her the victory on the Deity! After the war, she was given the task to look after little Hildr; avatar of the future. Hlukk managed to successfully live a quiet life with normal mortals. She's employed in the workshop of Tom Tomtes, where she helps building machines powered by steam power.

Hildr:
Born when her mother died, Hildr is the youngest Valkyrie up to date. Fact is, she's still a child... And this child represents the hope and future of a new world. Her Death would mean the end of everything that ever will be. it's not hard to understand, that her survival is imperative. She lives together with Hluk in Tomtes' workshop, where she's living a carefree life. Protected from the outside world, Hluk gives Hildr anything her heart desires. As a result of Hluk's bemothering, Hildr grows up as a farely spoiled brat.

Tom Tomtes:
An unusual clever goblin, completely obsessed by steampower and mechanics. This little creature-engineer lives in Midgard and works in his workshop trying to develop new technologies and crazy experiments like his steamwalker and diverse types of cannons, which he sells to kings and noblemen to be employed in war. Tomtes didn't hesitate a bit when he was asked to lodge Hluk and Hildr. The two Valkyries len him manpower in his projects and diversion in his isolated existence. Besides, after the arrival of Hluk, he doesn't need to build his automated female marionettes anymore to play with...
