Companion piece to these:
Like the first one, this was another technical practice with light/shadow and blending together elements.
I'm considering making a series of these angels (although usually when I plan to do a series of arts I tend to get distracted with something else halfway through like my Nightwish drawings...). Hopefully all of these won't be as dark/depressing looking as these two are, but they are cemetery angels, after all.

I really feel the emotion and connection that you've established between the two pieces. The floating petals up here, and down in the other piece, are just simple touches that really add a lot to the two works as a whole
The only thing that bothers me slightly is that the bench which is 'farther away' has more definition than the statue which is more in the foreground. But that's just a small detail!
