It's doable. Just keep the teeth wet after they come out. When they dry the tend to crack.

How did you make this?

These are my teeth I had removed in a surgery. I soaked them in water to prevent them from drying out and cracking/splitting apart. I used a power drill to tunnel through them so I could run string though. Hope this helps.

thanks, I think that after I have my wisdom teeth pulled out, which will be really soon (I'm scared )I'll try to make a necklace as cool as yours out of them. It is a really beautiful necklace.

It depends on how they have grown in. I had a pre-appointment where my mouth person explained all those details. Good luck.

I'm getting mine taken out in a couple weeks. All four. They're not even close to surfacing, and I'm only fifteen, but apparently it's "the thing to do" now. That is... taking them out early. I'm dreading it. *sigh*

This is so amazing though, that if I had the talent, patience, and know-how to do something like this, it would definitely be worth the worrying and pain. Not only is the necklace fantastic, but the photograph as well.

thanks, its not so bad, only two or three of my teeth had come to the surface, and only barely. I had maybe 3 or 4 days until I was fine again. It didn't hurt much after it was just awkward and annoying to have your mouth cavity shrunken by the swelling.

Nifty. They had to break two of mine to get them out of my mouth, so they really weren't worth keeping. I love what you did with them though!

No, they were just so stuck in there that the surgeon had to destroy them to get them out. Man, that was a painful surgery recovery!
