Illyana wasn't sure what was up with Casey
today, she was quieter which hadn't happened
since coming to the institute after her trauma with
that freak. her blonde friend didn't want to admit she
was worried about the brunette but she certainly didn't
like seeing her so reserved when she was normally in her
face during their normal spats and such.

"Casey, are you okay? you've been abnormally quiet today." Illyana
asked her friend who was sitting in her room, avoiding eye contact.

"I'm fine, thanks." Casey answered.

unconvinced, Illyana sat down on the floor with Casey. "No you're not,
come on. what's up?" she asked.

Casey sighed, running her hands over her forehead which revealed her
face more and Illyana was surprised to see Casey had been crying cause
her cheeks and eyes were red. "Okay, fine. I need to tell you that I really
hated you for awhile because of you bullying me all the time and I suppose
it's just who you are but i haven't been talking to you cause of it. and the only
reason I'm not telling you off right now is because....I love you, ok?"

Illyana stared at Casey for awhile, not believing what she just heard.

"you...you love me?" she asked in an almost quiet voice.
