Err... It's been sitting on my harddrive unfinished for many months now. I tinkered with it a bit more and I'm calling it done. Even though I'm not satisfied with it.Stock used:

Yes. They are consuming the piece. It's all I see. Lines.. Lines.. The perfectionist in me is seething because of them.

So this is the famous "never-ever-finished" statue girl? Yellow and blue are colors of my country's flag, so each time I dress in those colors or use much of them, people call me a nationalist. Half-jokingly. Now I can innocently savor this colors combination, and damn, it looks good. Each contour is so smooth, just like a piece of bottle glass which was washed by the waves for a long time. Smoothness and a bit of blur are key effects for re-creating the atmosphere of an ocean bottom. Statue is like bewitched by the light, she reaches for it and is rewarded by lighter spots on her hands and hair. It's lonely, yet full of hope. I love it.

simply lovely voodoo! I love the underwater theme, partly bescause I love the water and partly bescause of the symbolism (intentional or not). I suspect however it is intentional bescause of the the title. I love how she is a statue its so symbolic of a lost civilization. the setting looks almost religious in a way bescause of the building.
the only critical comment I have is that the blue background when blow up looks a little ruff for lack of a better word.
PS: I thought dove stock deleted her gallery? did you save some pics?

You know what, it took me FOREVER to figure out where that stock pic of the girl came from, because I lost a lot of my saved stock files a while back, and that includes all of dove stock's stuff.

You are evil, awful and bad for letting us wait for sooooo long for a new artwork. But hey, it was well worth the wait because that long period of silence resulted in this artwork. It looks very cool, I like those funny yellow fishes which gives a nice contrast against the blue colour. I like the effect you pulled on the girl. She almost looks like a statue. Great work!
