well, there's this thing called school. At school, everyone is stupid, so we go really slow. and while everyone is trying to figure out what the hell is going on because they're too retarded to listen while teacher explained it the first time , I am trying to ignore their idiocity by drawing.
It keeps me from turning around and saying something very very mean, such as " I WILL SKIN YOU ALIVE AND THEN BURN YOUR UNPROTECTED SKINLESS FLESH IF YOU CONTINUE BEING SUCH AN ASS" and " I HOPE YOU DIE OF [insert random STD here], YOU DIRTY SLUT"

I am very mean, i know, but it is the truth ( uses such vulgar language) -_-;

AHAHA, no I make sure I sit in prime locations to limit the gawking of onlookers, it's so annoying, and you're trying to do something, and all you can feel is a dozen pairs of eyes on your back. Plus, covering what you're not working on with a peice of paper limits the gawkage signifigantly tooo. I've only ever had one person in all my highschool life actually openly gawk and ask questions, and I was in a bad mood that day so our conversation went exactly like this:
L: OMG, did you REALLy draw that?????!!!??
ME: No...I wiped my ass with this paper, and my amazingly talented anus formed these lines that look a lot like pictures .\
L:..ah he he * nervous laughter*
AHAHAHA I felt bad for being so mean afterwards, because L is really nice and I was all mean to him ;_;

I use tria /pantone markers. they're very nifty, similar to copics i beleive. kind of expensive though. prismacolour makes a similar marker which is equally good ^^

glad ya like! inspiration.,..hm..I don't really look at other artist's work for inspiration ( unless i have NO idea on how to make an expression it's soo awkward!!), I just took the idea of manga last year and ran with it ( well, I sort of frolicked rather, i didn't take it too seriously). I am trying to break away from it a bit and make it less manga/animeish, that's partially because I see soooo much typical anime type artwork. I thought it was boring, it made me not want to look at people's galleries because it got to the point where it had no meaning, and people were coming out with stuff they'd just thrown together and put no thought into ( i'm guilty of this often, bad me!) and it had no feeling. I wanted to eventually be taken more seriously so I started to try to incorperate more realistic tones ( I guess you could say) into what i'm doing.
Obviously, I'm still working on it
So i guess, I could have answered by saying No, and yes. No in the fact that it's mostly manga/anime format ,
and yes with what I take from my own ( or nature or whatever I see ) life as imput. Not really artists...I feel inferior when I look at other artists' stuff, and I feel like a plaigarist If i try to take their ideas, I know I'd feel bad if someone took mine o.O not that you can't it's a free world... ....OH! wait! I get pattern inspiration from antiques roadshow AHAHAH I"M SUCH A LOSER! AHAHA I watch that show all the time...and then i watch the news..>.> ...<.< ok...i'm the biggest dork in the world, so sue me. did that answer your question????

yes it definitely did. ^_^ Actually I can understand what you're saying about the whole generic anime thing. I feel the same way. It does get really boring after awhile and I do feel inferior a lot of times because my style's quite different.

Well I was just curious because your style reminds me of the manga Alichino and some other artists, that's all.

And we're all dorks in our own way so watch as many antiques shows and news as you'd like.

yeah it's cool people took thier time out to comment, but i actually would like some real feedback.i really dislike comments like "kawaii!" or "retty coloring" especially when i'm going for a tad deeper meaning ~_^

ooh thank you! I only used three colours ( other than B&W) because it looked too busy otherwise, I wanted it to bereally low energy and still have some attitude. that and red and green/grey were the first colours I grabbed.

yeay! thanks, I didn't even intend to make them any kind of flowers o.O they just turned out that way..they loooked kind of tropical before I coloured them...like the kind on those ugly tropical tshirts..or like the bras at lasenza....
