Description Yay, another panorama. Although it doesn't look like it, these are 25 images, stitched together in a long and painful process.
Original image is something around 4700x3400 pixels, the downloadable version 1600x1200. If you download, please be so kind and fav it, too. I also need some motivation

Enjoy

Edit (20 Jun, 2010): After looking through my gallery, I noticed that the quality was not sufficient enough for my tastes, so I went back and bumped up the colors and contrasts a little. Hope it's to your delight

Because jpg have weak quality.

erm... honestly, you wouldn't notice a difference between a high-quality jpg and a png. The only difference would be the loading time. I myself don't see any difference between the PSD and jpg.

E-Squid In reply to BLPH [2010-06-20 17:17:35 +0000 UTC]

I'll have to interject here. I've saved a .PSD as a .JPG, and I noticed a degradation in quality. It was unfortunate, but as far as I've seen, there's less of a difference between the .PSD level of quality and that of a .png.
Though, at least it's not a .bmp.

BLPH In reply to E-Squid [2010-06-26 17:15:30 +0000 UTC]

True; best would be to upload it as a Bitmap or TIFF-file, but that would both kill the internet-connection and a some browsers would not even be able to display it
Seeing that my bandwidth is rather low, I cannot afford uploading PNG-files. Actually, I hate those who do upload them as it's loading so terribly slow. That's my primary reason why I stick to JPEGs

E-Squid In reply to BLPH [2010-06-26 18:49:55 +0000 UTC]

Hmm, I never took bandwidth into the equation. Well put.

BLPH In reply to E-Squid [2010-06-27 10:55:36 +0000 UTC]

I probably wouldn't do this myself if my internet was faster, so I can't blame you. But you really start to think about stuff when you upload something over 1MB

E-Squid In reply to BLPH [2010-06-27 19:26:52 +0000 UTC]

Heh, I think it's more of my fault. I don't pay for the broadband, so I'm not as conscious of this stuff. :/
