This I have to say is my best work, as far as realism is concerned. I am even more shocked that I was able to do this on scratchboard, because before this project I thought all scratchboard works turned out really flat and graphic... happy to be wrong!!!It took about 10 hours over a 2 week period to finish this up, it was a project we got in class! ^__^

You have an incredible glow about your figure, that I would never have thought scratchboard could do. I chuckled, though I haven't been posting much art these days I've started scratchboarding, but my niche has been its graphic qualities. I'm blown away by the softness of your rendering. Β What did you use to scratch with to get such fine feathering?
