well it's not something I do reguraly, just felt like it and it's not a hobby. you just pick up two pieces of special iron thread, and spin one around the other ( it took quite a while) if your finished you can decorate that string anyway you want, in my case around a bleu stone (or actually on of those things you useally find on the bottom of a fishbowl) and than you're finished

Or, if you're like me and you do this kind of stuff all day long, you can buy a wire-wrapper thingamajig for $12 at Hobby Lobby. It makes it a lot faster, and actually when it's done the wire tube is hollow. I love it, it makes wirework so much easier.
