Oh, I just read that the pic had originally a bad quality. Maybe it would have been an idea to magnify the scan to the double or triple size and then outline it anew in the computer?

udn take me wrong but, thats the scanlator job, not mine..also, this is the ONLY scan on the whole internet i found that wasnt watermarked, and i wanted to color this image sooo bad.
But from on now, I'll only color on high quality scans...

Why should that be a scanlator's job? Scanlators do translation and text insertion, not outlining pictures ^^ Artists do outlining XD

course its their job too...trtanslating is the easiest part...
where do u think High Quality scans come from...Scanlating isnt just about translating, and yes, making quality pages.

Well, our scalation group gets the HiRes scans from someone else. And I don't think translating is the easiest part -_-' Not if you want to be precise about it. Japanese can be very much a guessing game at times if you are not a native speaker.

You are absolutely right, and I agreed with all that you said. Translation is a work as hard and valuable as drawing, painting or colorizing.
Btw... Artists do outlining.
