The whole crisis in Norway got me interested in the country for some reason, that and the fact that I've been listening to RΓΆyksopp in excess lately

I live nowhere near it, if I did it would have been an even more insane experience... I'm just glad I didn't lose loved ones myself, I know people who did though.
I just hope we can go back to as normal as possible, as soon as possible.

Thank you. Let's hope so. There are things going on elsewhere we're very interesting to hear more about; what's going on with the American economy for instance, or the famine in Somalia, and other news that are, understandably, "drowned out" in the aftermath of the attacks. I don't think it's much in the media abroad any longer - and after the memorial services and the other events in honour of the victims have been held, it will be time to let the families and friends have some peace.
I have to say though, we've received a lot of support from all over the world, it's really touching.

Of course, it always is when these sort of things happen. From what I can recall it was similar to when that guy in Dunblane opened fire and killed all those children, even now it's still brought up from time to time in Scottish newspapers and even more so now with what's going on...talk about "nostalgia" eh?

Too right, but then again the world's so morbid at times that these things become part of the whole ''memories'' game whether we like it or not. To this day I've heard people of all sorts say "Oh I remember that! Wasn't that when (insert famous person) died?" or something far similar...

People are blasΓ©, life and death - it's all trivial for a lot of people... maybe it has to be like that, or we wouldn't be able to cope with it?

Very true, sometimes a bit of the gallows is all we need to boot grief and it's related subjects up the you-know-where.

You have to take a step back, look on the bright side, find a silver lining, or even a reason to laugh - or you'll crack. In my experience that's better than burying yourself in grief, I can tell you that. It will really drive you mad if you can't turn it off...even just for a little while.
