When Martin saw this page, he remarked how weird it is Jake is only now realizing these kids have supernatural powers. But really, they were under attack by this giant cyborg armed with a laser. He had more pressing matters at hand.
The Senator's response is a bit more confusing. I'd be way more terrified and/or angry if I were him. Maybe he's just putting on a decent act- he is a politician after all.
Martin's Comments:
Not much to say on this one but yeah, it came out well. Not a lot left to go on this chapter, so sort of winding down.
Another difference between WaR and Blues I've noticed - so far Blues tends to have more drawn-out endings to its chapters that resolve issues, while the WaR and BP ones tend to quickly resolve things and address the follow-up in the following chapter. Probably a result of Blues being a bit more episodic.
So, yeah. Pretty straightforward coloring job, so not a lot to say about it.
