Description Since posting my last sketch card, I was sitting looking at the little figure of Bounty Hunter, Cad Bane, I have on my desktop and thinking...I really should draw this guy, he's too cool not to. So here he is. And I did promise more Clone Wars work

My thoughts exactly. Bane is pretty much the sole reason I watch the show at all.

Every now and then they come up with a lone character I like a lot, such as The Son, for instance. But Bane is the one constant that makes me go back to see more - he's that damn convincing!

He sure is! He definitely stands out as one of the best bounty hunters Star Wars has offered if not the best.

Boba Fett still makes my number one, despite the retcons and new clone based background. He just keeps on going, even kicked the ass of a degenerative disease. But Bane is definitely my second.

I love this! Im really liking the idea of these close-ups. Nice effects with the markers, that blue looks really good. Makes me think of cake icing actually... and i love cake icing

Thanks muchly It's the old Cad Bane sneer we love so much! I have a thing for drawing eyes, so the more unusual the eyes the better, these were pretty simple but effective, I considered adding a bit more depth and shine but it works better this way IMO. More sketch cards forthcoming!

I had another Cad Bane, kept him carded. I sold him, slimming my collection down, but wow, had to get him back
