Description Out of all the art I did while I was away, this one is my fave by far.
So here you go, Nen Yim, the Yuuzhan Vong shaper from the New Jedi Order book series.

She does look a little like the snake-haired woman Medusa. But with a little of the Borg from Star Trek too. That was something a former teacher said when I was in high school.

As a fan of the NJO series and Star Wars in general, this is a great headshot pic. Nen Yim's head reminds me a little of Medusa of Greek mythology, but Nen Yim's one-time mentor Mezhan Kwaad reminds me more of the snake-haired woman. I think it's the tentacled headdress.

Thanks very much, this is actually a really old one of mine, check out some of the new stuff if you love the NJO - it's my fave series by far - I have a pic of Mezhan Kwaad there too, though this pic was the basis for that.
I agree, Mezhan had the whole stealthy serpant thing going on, hell hath no fury like a woman scorned after all!

Ta! Tried to refference them from the cover art from a book, but many I just added myself. Very indo-china i've noticed and that was the basis for one of my projects in my first year at uni.
