Description Yun-Harla: The Yuuzhan Vong Goddess of Deception (cloaked goddess/Trickster.)

'Borrowed' From Wiki - Yun-Harla, the Trickster, was the Goddess of Deception of the Yuuzhan Vong, also often referred as 'Cloaked One' or 'Cloaked Goddess.' Though primarily worshiped by the Intendant caste, Yun-Harla often went hand in hand with Yun-Yammka, the War God, and promoted strategy in combat, as the Twin Gods. Yun-Harla actually had no incarnation in art, as it was believed she deceived her worshipers in matters related to her appearance, and that she cloaked herself in borrowed skin. She also oversaw escalations.

wow, thanks for all the faves! I don't think i've ever had so many all in one go!
I am glad that you like these, Yun-Harla was my fave to do, probably the goddess that is closest to my heart, I was a bit of a trickster when I was younger lol nothing changed much now either
Her or Yun-Ne'shel anyway hehe, I love to shape!

Quite possibly, i've taken on a few paid commissions so they have to take presidence over stuff I will do for enjoyment or inspiration. I'm in the process of moving house so bear with me but I will get there

Just the forms of her body themselves are gorgeous, and the colors! Nice movement, it really seems to be reaching for the edges of the paper!

Beautiful!!

I love the almost Picasso-feel I get from this one: very metaphoric image, suggesting that "cloaked" or "masqued" presence. The combination of the soft swirls with the sharp thorny projections goes right along with the deception idea, too: she might be either, or neither--assume she is one, and she is then the other. And the hot light around her, edged by the smoky effect, also ties her in with the War God--destruction attends this goddess... What a great interpretation, ~blue-but-beautiful~!!

Thank you very much I took part of her design from figures I sketched for the 'effects on the human body' project. Those figures too, were very metamorphic and all interlinking to their surroundings, so I tried to incorperate some of that thinking here along with making her figure stand out from the background to give the impression of a seperate entity if you will. But it is intended as you discribe, she is either or neither. thanks for the words

It was supposed to have a raw feel to it, she is said to be cloaked in borrowed skin, so I tried to incorporate all those atributes mentioned above in some sense.
