Description Random little Axel. I like the way it turned out, though the coloring isn't what I usually do... He's just sitting there, contemplating stuffs, missing Roxas, the usual.

Cool. Again, I suppose, from Kingdom Hearts 2? I like it. The whole angle of it is really cool. That and I can understand the whole "Stand/sit up on a high place overlooking something so that you can look of into the horizon in search of something that isn't there" thing. I kind of wish it was Traditional Art and not Digital, but that's my preference. Still, great work. Keep it up.

But of course! eheh... I've fallen into obsession, (prolly not a good thing) so it's pretty much all I've drawn for a while. I liked it, but it's not like I was going for anything. I was just playing around with photoshop, because I've only just discovered it and think it's just... the bee's knees? Hm... why did *that* expression come to mind? Wierd... Thanks oodles again! =^.^=

Well, obsession can be good if you use it correctly. (Like make lots of cool art stuff, which seems to be what you're doing. Good work!) It may be bad that I know what you mean when you say "the bee's knees" but then again, I am surrounded by strange people. Don't have photoshop, but I've heard that it's the cat's meow. Keep up the swell work, Blue-Carrot-Unmei.

Used correctly, eh? Yeah... lots... and lots... and lots. Just not really good enough to scan... or incomlete. Wierd friends? Nah, there's no such thing XD. My friends and I... boy oh boy. XD. Yeah, I'm having fun with digital art. There's just so much to do (and without the daunting task of cleaning up art supplies- for I are lazy). It is... The Ardvark's lemonade?... I made that one up XD. But you don't know that.

Yeah, I see the lots of art thing going on. (4 deviations just today. Good job.) I already said in another reply (for I am stupid, and thought that you had talked about the art supplies in that one for some reason) about how the extent of cleaning up my art supplies is picking up my sketchbook and pencil. We both know too much about 20's slang. But that's alright. 20's slang is the cat's pajamas.

I got lucky that I did things that I thought worth posting. Or that I actually finished some stuff. Yeah, I usually just use pencil and ink. I've just now started coloring with photoshop. The only traditional coloring I like to do is watercolor, but I never have the time. It takes so much longer. Nevermind about the misplaced comment, I'm just glad you're taking the time to review my stuff! =^.^=

Vetch In reply to Blue-Carrot-Unmei [2006-05-20 16:33:21 +0000 UTC]

The watercolor certainly would create alot to clean up. I used to use ink alot, but I haven't recently... don't know why. (Possibly I'm subconsciously trying to get away from the anime style that I sort of reached and stayed at for a while and move to a more personalized style that is between realistic and cartoonish, but more leaning to realistic, and getting rid of the confining pen lines is the first part of that. Or maybe I'm just lazy.) I like colored pencils, even if I'm not very good with them (everyone always asks me if I used crayons...)
No problem reviewing your stuff. It's cool!

Lol. Let's go with the first reason. For me, it's jsut that I've formed a nice comfort bubble with anime style and lines... I suppose I'll have to step out of it eventually, but that's what procrastination is for. Eheh.
I have found true love in Watercolor Color Pencils. They. are. wonderful. And you don't have to clean up all the mess.
I just haven't firgured out how to make a scan of a watercolor look nice. I'll find it eventually.

Heh, I understand the "Comfort bubble". For the longest time I never drew anybody in any pose aside from the one I knew. I had lots of trouble getting past that (all the stuff I tried looked so terrible to me, but I've been getting better. Especially with my more recent works. The only problem is that there isn't as many of them...) I had watercolor pencils, but I used them 'till they were nothing anymore... I need to get more (No money can really suck...) Don't know how to help you with the scanning stuff. I just scan mine and hope they look right. Your stuff looks good, though, so you must be doing something right.

We keep doing this... so many replies...
That sounds like a very good plan, actually. I tend to get distracted, though, so my stuff will span over a few days if it's actually any good. (Like the one in front of me now. Probably easy to guess the focus of it, but that's alright. Started it Saturday or Sunday night, I believe. Still working.) Good luck with the scanning, and with the pencils, just do it alot. You're welcome.

lol. Yeah. I look for poses anywhere I go and doodle till I either get it well enough, or realise I can't do it. XD. I'll get it eventually. Our scanning program is pretty good, so I just have to play around with it. And take the time to get better at those pencils. Thanks again
