Oh no! Its horrible when that happens. I had several of my gameboy games stolen when i was a kid, they stole them from a locker in a swimming pool in holland. made me so very sad

I wish they'd re-made this for the GBA or DS, I loved that it had Jessie and James in it and you could have Pikachu follow you.

Indeed, Fire Red and Leaf Green were pretty good otherwise though, but I'm glad they added pokemon following you to Heart Gold and Soul Silver. It makes so much sense to have that too since it works as a good happiness-indicator so you can see how close you are to evolving happiness-evolving pokemon -- plus all the little interactions you can have with your pokemon are so cute! ^u^

I haven't played black and white, the gen 5 games don't really appeal to me since I'm a fan of the classics (and I still haven't finished Soul Silver, I need to trade for mantine and gligar, catch Ho-oh and Mewtwo, and beat Red) but yeah, I did think it was a bit of a step back to not have your mons follow you when I saw the previews.

I'm a fan of the classics too, but I feel I can't judge them till I played them. Although I do like them, they are no way as good as the 1st 3 gens. They were all wonderful

That's fair enough, I was put off by the starters from the get go, but I guess the classics I just identify with more because they connect to my childhood. True, the gen 3 mons were pretty cool, I enjoyed collecting them with Hoen Sound in Soul Silver.

I only liked snivy the grass type as a starter in gen 5. the moves are kinda rubbish too in the game generally. You don't tend to be able to get any good TMs and learned moves till endgame, so you really have to rely on ev training and type advantages. gen 5 is by far the weakest link in my opinion. good game, just not as good as the others. I really hope they end up remaking the hoenn region. that would pretty much make my life XD

i found a feebas, but i accidentally fed it the wrong starts thing, and could never get it to change to a molotic
