at last! the fourth of my elemental series. fyi: the series features a mythological creature that's part-animal representing each element. this is, though it may not entirely seem to be, a harpy. i had a hard time making a bird-woman work for my particular style. that's why she kinda looks like a basilisk or a rooster, and not as harpy-esque as them images found in greco-roman pottery. din't draw her other arm/wing cuz, well, found it too cumbersome to do so. i chose the colour violet/purple cuz i dunno, it reminds me of the sky. haha. how shallow.meanwhile, if you're interested, here are the other 3 elements in the series:

honestly, i love your style, the stained glass window piece, however, i don't care for the faces in any but water that much, they just don't flow well witht he piece. you have great movement however, my eyes keep wandering. I don't really know wat else to say.

I like making sorta anthro things to
one thing I tried to even imagine is drawing a frog with a beautiful woman figure or something like that
To try and help myself I was like, ok so what kind of personality would I picture with a frog? with a fox it's clever and cunning, a nice animal to mix with a woman. cats are easy and so are dogs, but a frog?
maybe you should try doing a frog and making the woman look beautiful at the same time

I really like this series. I don't think I've seen any of these cratures portrayed quite like this. Except maybe the mermaid, but mermaids are beloved creatures.
