All of your animations look great! What program do you use/recommend? I'm looking for something cheap/free just to get some practice in animating, as I've never really done it before (flip books in middle school aside).
Also, do you have any specific tips for animating human characters with wings, or is it more of a go out there and do it sort of thing?

An old cracked version of photoshop set to Motion mode will work (usually under window -> workspace -> motion) or if you want the practice, the trial version of TVPaint since there's no time limit but the only downside with that is you cant save and export. And as far as animating with wings, look up lots of slowmo and nature videos on youtube or sequenced photos to use as reference for movement, then just do very simple stick figures and build up from there once you find out what timing works for you.Β

This has gotta be one of my most favorite animations that you've done so far!!!
I love how it's like they're working together or something!! Either that or it's like a battle, the incoming bird was charging and the other swooped to avoid it...
Either way, it's AWESOME!! Thanks for such quality content!! ^-^

Have I mentioned that I also really like the backgrounds on these? Somehow that color scheme is great for animations. ^^
This almost looks like some kind of courtship ritual, or maybe hunting/combat practice? Anyway, 'tis darn cool. XD
