Eventhough it was making little snuffling noises into Remus' empty cup and Iva was clamouring to investigate, Severus was stoically ignoring all of them.

The saleswitch must've used some kind of charm to talk him into buying it - probably thinking he had a female sweetheart waiting at home in need of yet another plush toy.

Remus had wisely said nothing when Severus had deposited the toy on the table between them, a long red satin ribbon trailing from around its neck. In fact, Remus hadn't said anything thus far. He just watched the toy going about its exploration, every now and then looking up to smile at Severus in a way that made him blush in embarrasment.

So Severus did the only thing he could do; he grunted and disappeared behind his paper.

For the lovely for the V-day Card Exchange ! She had provided me with the keyword(s) "unicorn stuff toy" and the pairing "Snape/Lupin". Since this happens to be one of my favourite pairings as well, I went all out on this baby and loved every second of it!

Some of you may remember Iva from Have you fed the cat? . I couldn't help putting her in there again. And damn... I do believe I have improved somewhat since THAT picture.
