Well I finally got him coloured. I had to decide what it was that I wanted to do for him. Then I decided on blue. To much black would make him seem...like Duo.anyway I put him as anime since he's not anthro. He's more human then wolf. That would be the same as putting Inuyasha as a anthro. ~__~.
Oh and if you want to see the updated verson of this chech out my scraps. and please...do pardon the pencils...I was colour testing him

Hey! COOL! ^^ The colors fit him very well. Not too overstated or loud...very gentle yet appealing. The white-and-gold works nicely for his hair and eyes--makes him seem very magical.

Every time you draw something like this, I just want to fall on my sword. He looks like he just stepped out of a Manga and I feel like I will never ever be able to achive that level of detail. I simply can't wait to find out what his story is.

well it's just alot of study XD I study anime's and not only watch them. I found the more bazar and odd the clothing the better, (even more so if its a battle costume XD) and just try and do the same. You can just let your imagination go wild.
It's not that hard really, ^_^ all you have to do is, even if you look at a refrence, is just learn to think anime-ish(?). I think you were trying that one time ne? on one of your lady mice?. If you like I could help you...or at least try.
