Well I got another one of these little guys done.If you thought the NiGHTS chao was cute..meet it's competition. I think what makes this little guy so adorable is his chibi chubby little tails on the back XD.
The ball over his head is not that ugly pea green nether...the lighting just makes it look that way sadly ><. I always loved watching these guys play the trumpet that came with the chao garden. How they just pulled it out of anime hammer space is beyond me.
I hope to get more of the character chao done along with the normal chao otherwise.
Done with Super Sculpey, Acrylic paints, wire, glaze and a painted wooden base.

The colour of paint I used for the body is called Calypso Orange made by Delta Ceramcoat. I find they have a nice range of colours that cover good.

You PAINTED the body? I thought that was clay, and the white was apinted on.

yup everything was painted. He's made of Super Sculpey which is translucent beige when baked and paints well since it has a porcelain like texture.

I use Sculpey III. I've heard good things about super Sculpey. I might have to give it a try.

It is really good...and if you want something that can hold a lot of details without smushing from over working get Super Sculpey Firm.
