Soooooooooooooooooooo~I've been practicing drawing in the lovable Disney style--particularly that of Glen Keane the man is a god I swearrrrr. Most of the doodles here are random, but that one girl with the short wavy/curly bob cut is actually someone I doodled up and ended up becoming a little fond of. I refer to her as "Pepper" currently. xD
And that snarky looking German shepherd? That'd be the dog version of 's ever-so-lovable-and-charismatic Salim. LOVE THAT MAN. LOVE YOU JOURNEI.
I got inspired to draw him after getting re-addicted to Disney's Oliver and Company, particularly after I got to this lovely song right here~ www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jb7kJ-… Soon I'll draw up the golden retriever puppy-version of Leon/Yukito (my oc) and the two will have New York City shenanigans/adventures together like the bros they are! 
But...over all, I like drawing in Disney style! It's a refreshing difference from my usual manga/anime style. Very fun and nostalgic!

This is cute. Maybe you could try and adapt it into your usual style? You know, make it more unique since those sorts of things get more interest. If you are indeed thinking of possibly doing an art course in the future, adapting this Disney style into your own would certainly get you further than the anime style. Art people don't tend to like the anime style. XD;;
Also, since Pepper is pretty cute, why don't you make her your page mascot, or something? It would be a shame for her to go to waste. :3

Aww, thank you! x3 I've always been a big fan of Glen Keane's work for Disney. He has such a wonderful style that makes for fantastic facial expressions and gestures. Not to mention the godly work he does on the hair for his characters. *has been jealous of every princess who had perfect hair ever xD;;; *
I might incorporate her as small mini-comic strips, or if I get to the point where I willing to try flip-book/2D animation, I might use her for that as well. I have another character I refer to as Cola (I dunno why I just do), who is a friend of Pepper here. I originally planned on making mini comics about the two of them--primarily Cola--to practice gestures and expression. Cola's the sort-of-hipster, sarcastic blogger type with two part-time jobs and attending college. Pepper..l'm not sure yet. I'll get there xD

Daw, thanks x3 Next up, DogSalim and PupLeon take Mew York Cty by storm! xDDDD I can kinda see Salim as running some of the 'dog underground' of NYC...not anything bad but he's gotta have his connections to get those premium steaks now and then. xD I pictured him bringing Leon back to 'the base of operations' and being all "hey somebody see if we've got any stuff for the kid. give him a nice tie or whatever" xDDDDD

And when everybody turns in for the night, Leon wouldn't know where to lay down so he'd just sort of walk over and curl up next to Salim like Oliver curls up next to Dodger in the movie x3 dawwwww

Or like maybe Salim goes out, tells somebody to 'watch the kid' if he's going somewhere particularly unsafe for less-streetsmart pups, and if they don't then he goes all worried-father mode trying to find his little fluffy buddy to haul him home and tell him to behave like a good dog xDDDD
