I literally started this anime just this morning. I am now 6 episodes in and I love it! This is a wonderful blend of historical fiction, drama, action, and fantasy. Not to mention the animation is beautiful for most, if not all, of the scenes; the fight scenes are wonderfully fluid. I love Yona as a determined princess, instead of being the stereotypical damsel in distress. I can't wait to watch more of this series!

underrated. Believe me the story only gets better! But yes, episode 6 was the turning point for me concering

I also HIGHLY recommend you read the manga from where the anime leaves off. It's an INCREDIBLE story!!!!!!

I'm hoping that eventually the anime will continue on! I want to read the manga yet I haven't found time to do so; it's still on the reading list, though! I was so worried at first I wouldn't like Yona up until that turning point where she began to make more thought-out decisions and stopped falling into the 'pining princess' trope. I look forward to seeing her progress more, be it in another installment of the anime or when I get around to the manga.
