Nienna is one of the Valar queens, young sister of Mandos & LΓ³rien.
Grief and mourning are Nienna's province; in her halls in the distant west, she weeps for the suffering of Arda (the world).
She teaches pity and endurance. The Maia OlΓ³rin, who was later to travel to Middle-earth as Gandalf, learned much from her.
Her house is in the 'west of West, upon the borders of the world' and 'the windows of her house look outward from the walls of the world'.

Relly love this one most of all of your artworks, in my opinion the more simple look you try to achieve the better is the result in emotion and strength of the character. Keep up the beautiful imagination and drawings!

looking quickly through your gallery, this one really caught my eye. it is by far my favorite. i noticed that your art reminds me of amy brown. so pretty.
anyway, i really love the fact that this is in a sepia-ish tone. the shading on the dress is absolutely beautiful, just in the right places. the dress itself is also very nice. i like how the face came out, and her hair looks nice as well! might i add that the rest of your shading is great. i truly love this pic!
