I am liking the plain white background here. He stands out so wonderfully against it. The negative space plays an important part here; almost like the feathers are enmeshed with the space around...I dunno, I like the composition and the shapes. Not to mention the colors. So, basically I love the entire piece. Wonderful.

Think I'll just sit and stare awhile...

I like how the edges of the dark feathers and hair are light. It's pretty (but still a little eerie).
