Annnnd, here is Scion's little sister, innocently unaware of what a cocky young red head has planned. Also, here is where hopefully *lokelani can take a much needed break and I'll be working on the next few pages with her guidance.

I wonder if I'm the only one not worried about the little girl. I mean, Hydra is rich, famous and gay, what's the worst thing he can do to her? Well, yes, ok, but he's friends with Scion, so he won't do anything that would actually hurt her, right? And yes, marrying a much older man you don't love is not every girl's dream, but it looks like life is not easy for anyone in Oscura.

You have their relationship pretty much spot on! Seki is young but she's not helpless..in fact I think Hydra is more delicate and vulnerable, at least mentally speaking.

Ok, so this will be one of the craziest things I've ever written, sorry for that
I think every person, since early childhood, faces some difficulties, fears and obstacles and when they learn to overcome them, they grow up a bit, then face more of them. And it looks like Hydra's complicated childhood prevented him from overcoming some of those difficulties and he dragged them along through his life, not really sure how to deal with them.
IDK, it just looks like ever since Demarius and his mommy were killed and he killed his daddy, Hydra needs someone to keep an eye on him, someone he can always trust to protect him and give an advice when needed.
It's just my little theory.

You know, this really makes me happy, because that was what *lokelani and I were going for when we considered their relationship. It's actually a very symbiotic thing, with both of them getting something they didn't have but needed. Seki gets to finally have security in her life financially, and she also gets sexual security, since not every 15 year old is dying to get laid and have babies. And Hydra is getting a chance to kindle a relationship with a woman for the first time since his mother was murdered. He really, really needs to have a non-sexual, healthy relationship. Which is funny because the woman is getting married to him.
I also have to agree with your philosophy on life, especially childhood. This is something that fascinates me- many people have some sort of trial in their younger years, simply because that's when we are most powerless and things are the hardest. Many go on to become strong, stable people, but others get tripped up and trapped in a hellish cycle, re-living their worst memories, or being held prisoner by the fears generated by them. Even though Oscura is a 'fantasy' comic, in the end, *lokelani and I really want this to be the most important theme, not necessarily flying airships or corsets. Although those are also nice. ^_^
But your theory is valid and correct.

I don't even want to imagine what Hydra's marriage with Elise would be like.
I think it doesn't matter if a comic is fantasy based or not, it should follow natural logic and causality, that is why I like Oscura so much. It's very cleverly thought of.

Wow I love the tropical colors. Reminds me of a game called "Chrono Cross" had a lot of this water colory style in it! Pose is good too....the picture just has a ton going on it in. A+ ! <3

Her torso looks a bit stiff and her breasts a bit two-dimensional. Even though the lines indicate that they're pressed together, there's nothing in the dress that indicates a curve. That's what I thought at first, but following the line of her body from the bottom and up I can kinda see it. Still she looks a bit flat. (But please don't misunderstand me, I don't have a thing fot big boobs or anything 
That being said, I can go on worshipping you. It acually kinda hurt saying something bad since I'm acually in awe because of the picture. Your background lately have been outstanding. I don't particulary like landscapes, but you give it a nerve, and since there're such beautiful and interesting things in the foreground, those backgrounds get even better.
