Were you just happening to get used to a 3D Mario game at the time? I only ask, because my younger cousins got scared a lot too, mostly because they heard the barking and weren't facing the Chain Chomp.

XD I was pretty young, so yeah... I remember when the thing lunged at me and I'd freak and run the other way.
