I've got a couple of them, they're smaller than the 3-button model. You weren't missing out on much because only fighting games really took advantage of them.

Yeah. If you've ever played the Sega Genesis versions of games such as Mortal Kombat and Street Fighter with the 3-button controller, you can't pause during game play.

Yeah, that can be a pain. Even though I had the Genesis version, I'd normally move to the SNES for MK and SF. The games ran more smoothly and had a better controller.
