Oh yes they are very cute.
And yeah Stacy did not expect the tropical weather to hit like this. It really pealed her out of her comfort zone. And really exposed her sensitive side to tropical climate.
Good thing Maria and Rosita came just in time to show Stacy the appropriate attire for Costa Diamante. I took a good read on your Character Bio to under stand them and there living arrangement before drawing theses two pic.
Sure you can come. Stacy says smiling.

oh the two in the picture were on a kind of super Hawaii, kinda figures that if they go practically anywhere else they'd think it'd be pretty chilly, sort of like how when a northerner moves south and is surprised by how hot it is usually, though i was mostly thinking socks would look good with those sandals, probably be in a different location or on a different girl, though these kinda sandals in a slides variant would be easier on stacy and the like, need some sturdy socks with normal flip flops after all

Oh yes, that's true the world over - if you come from a colder climate, you'll always complain the weather is too hot elsewhere; and if you come from a hot climate, you'll always feel really chilly. I live in London (UK), and summertime here is way too hot for me (about 35°C), but I love winter. As a kid, the hot weather in summer always caused me to burst out with surprise nosebleeds (really freaked out my teachers, not to mention my parents and sister too, whenever blood would suddenly start pouring from my nose without warning! xD)
Of course if you wish to see cute schoolgirls wearing socks with their sandals, then you'd be better off in the temperate European-like country of Loldova, where the St Lolita's Boarding School uniform includes precisely socks with sandals - the loose, shoddy kind that keep coming undone and falling off all the time for no reason.

i've lived in texas my whole life and know/hate heat, also not quite used to the cold and the people around me freak out and lose their minds when it starts to snow, no joke on that either, winter is also my favortie but mostly because the insect climate here is insane.
also i can't call those shoes sandals, i'm not sure what they are but i'm sure their not sandals, especially not like flip flop and slide variants, also didn't know general europe was a good climate for socks and sandals.

Neat info, and yeah those are what us americans would call “strappy dress shoes” and in the second thing “breathable loafers” though i did encounter an australian who called slippers a pair of sandals, as they covered the top of the foot to the toe with an open slide in mouth.
generally speaking if the toe area is exposed and there’s no heel cover the shoe is a sandal.

That's the definition I tend to go with as well - an open heel and an open toe. But "school sandals" are still a thing across the hole of the UK, despite being completely enclosed front and back. xD Popular terminology can be really weird sometimes.
On the other hand, Sammi and Jemima's school footwear do have completely open sides, which isn't a common thing in closed shoes. They're a strange kind of hybrid shoe-sandal...thing. lol

Yeah terminology gets weird, what do you British people call and count as slippers then? It’s probably pretty different from over here.
the school girls shoes are a pretty british thing so your culture might have a word for it some where, though them having open sides likely makes it too easy for things to be slipped in without the girls knowledge.

primarily the latter since the former is an issue for most shoes without leather outsides to work as a shield or shoes that are mildly worn down.
but with these kinda shoes they have a whole host of other little problems, including the things you listed, like if a girl lifts up her foot and the strap comes undone and she leaves it like that for a while any number of things could fly into her shoes, from dust and dirt from someone sweeping, to pebbles and gravel, to little creepy crawlies that would make any young girl freak out, that last one being a special issue for them since the open side means things that can't really climb shoes can now get in and rest, on top of taking off their shoes outside and leaving them on the ground being a generally bad idea, no innocent girl should have to suffer the experience of a beetle going *crunch!* in their shoes,or worse, a worm getting squished flat..
i generally think more big picture and with probability in mind, as if something has a chance of happening it'd probably already happened to some less fortunate soul.
