Background:

Born and raised in Empire City, Berry grew fondly of wanting to travel around the world. Growing up, she had always dreamed of traveling and tried saving enough money that her parents gave her (coins and such) thinking it would be enough. When she grew older, she realized that her dream would never come true, mainly due to her low paying job.
One day, sitting in her room, her parents surprised her with a check large enough to go to Spagonia. Refusing to go, she asked her parents why they would do such a thing. "Because we love you and want to see you be happy" is what her parents told her, and she would never forget those words.
She packed her bags, said goodbye to her friends and family, and made her way to Spagonia.
She now lives in a small apartment, made new friends, works as a Barista, and continues to find any way towards money to make her way around the world.
