Description I've finally finished my first ever scalemate! His name is Colonel Windything and I absolutely love him. It took me about two days overall to make him, although you could say it was more like two weeks because it took me so long to go buy the stuffing and buttons hahahaha xD

I used the patterns by the lovely to make him, so thank you very much!

So a big shout-out to her for her wonderful patterns and easy-to-follow tutorials!

I had a lot of fun making the Colonel ♥ He's 100% hand-sewn, so he was a lot of work, but completely worth it. I'd have machine-sewn it, but I have nowhere to place the sewing-machine atm xDDD Still, I think he came out pretty good!

I'm still working on another. Been well over a month. Too busy dicking around and doing non-sewing things. I should get my ass in gear and actually make it.

When it comes to procrastinating I'm the worst.

Oh god don't even go there. The little dude downright creeps me out. Always has, and always will. I'm making him for a friend. Otherwise I wouldn't be making him at all!

Thank youuu! It's all thanks to you <3 I posted this picture in the Homestuck Argentina group on Facebook and got a lot of scalemate requests, it's crazy! o__O

Haha, people keep telling me they don't know the first thing about sewing, not even threading a needle, and I'm just sitting here thinking it's not that hard I already promised a friend I'd teach her how to make one

Oh, I know! And I looove sewing. Actually, I'm a very crafty person haha. Which is awesome. And I'm sure we'll have fun with that, although I do get frustrated when people don't get what they're supposed to do after the tenth time I explained xD

I can only imagine! But you should be proud, your plushies are amazing, really!

seriously.. my kids taped a request list for plushies on my bedroom door, along with a "plushie factory" sign. it's ridiculous! hahahaha oh yeah, teaching people is hard if they don't have the same skill lvl or artistic ability you do. it's frustrating for them also. that's very nice of you to help your friends

Hahahaha omg it's like the Plush Rump Factory right in the middle of your house! Your kids sound precious <3

Well, they are my friends and I like teaching them new things, I just hope they catch on easily. I mean, I might be patient and everything, but if you're still saying you don't understand after the billionth time I explained, then there's something very wrong with you haha xD

He looks really fuzzy. and thanks for linking to the instructions... I'm gonna make my own too. I'm going to try to nab a sewing machine though....my stitches are terrible.

He's really fluffy and cute and a perfect bedtime companion if you want one

Good luck sewing him! A sewing machine is sure to make things easier for you, and if there's something you don't understand, the creator of the patterns is really helpful So happy sewing!
