Ok, so I'm a great fan of Zero Kiryuu (along with Edward Elric and Howl) and I noticed that I haven't drawn him for ages...I watched the anime a while back and can't say that I am planning to watch it again because I didn't think Vampire Knight was THAT great...But if it means seeing more of Zero I might just force myself through Yuuki pining over Kaname (God I HATE that guy...)
I drew this with Copic Markers.
Don't even start about how Kaname is better, IT IS NOT TRUE!

Oh that makes me happy^^ Now I have even more reasons to hate him and have found someone who can realate to hating Kaname 
I didn't read the Manga for fear of having to see Yuuki drooling over Kaname on every second page but seeing as I wasn't planning to read it anyway, thank you for the "spoiler"

To me every Kaname fan are like yuuki they choose not to see Kaname for what he is, and just enjoy the dream rather than reality. Also I have one more "spoiler" on how disgusting yuuki is not long after Zero Β tell's yuuki, Kaname destroyed his family yuuki then seals Zero's memories of her Β (he get's them back) then sleeps with Kaname. Β She sleeps with Kaname knowing all the suffering Zero has gone through because of Kaname and she sleeps with him, she and Kaname deserve each other living in there make believe world of ignorance and loneliness.
If you ask me anyone who give's you bullshxt about Kaname's greatness, just tell them Kaname is a hypocrite and leave it at that you know what Kaname's done you don't need to lower yourself to the Kaname fans level let them dream and be ignorant we know better.

yeah it's pretty messed up, a lot of people say bad things about Zero cause of his angst and attitude, but considering what's happened to him and finding out later it's all Kaname's fault I think most of them don't understand.

The thing you will never understand about Zero is that his suffering and the way he deals with it is what makes him so much better than Kaname. His appeal comes from his inner conflict, forcing himself to push other people away, hating himself for it and hating himself for turning into the very thing that he so despises.Β
You could compare Zero to Will Herondale. Is Will pitiful? NO!
Edward Cullen does not belong in a discussion with such fantastic characters (excluding Kaname). He lowers the tone. Pretend he was never in this conversation to begin with!
Sebastian is a totally different matter, as he can't help being evil. There's a difference. The beauty of Sebastian is that he can't understand that what he is doing is wrong, Kaname has no such excuse!

Concerning Zeros inner suffering and his hatred for himself: I don't know if you do but I certainly don't enjoy watching other people suffer!
And now that you have realised the parallels between Will and Zero you may guess how much I like Will.
Why should Kaname need an excuse for what he's doing?! You do realise that his actions saved Yuuki, don't you?
And finally, Yuuki is the one who doesn't know about Kanames real identity. Maybe you're right and Yuukis actions are gross but Kaname isn't the one at fault!!Β

I (sadist that I am) prefer watching Zero's suffering than Kaname's know-it-all/I'm-so-much-better-than-everyone- attitude. I don't care how powerful he is, he shouldn't use people who care about him as pawns!

Well he is better than everyone else -including Zero!- so there's no problem with his attitude.

Yuuki drank Zero's blood (in Vampire Knight drinking someone's blood equals reading someone's feelings (imagine the torture of Zero having to drink Yuuki's blood, knowing all the while that she was completely taken by Kaname)). So at the very end of the series when Zero lets Yuuki drink his blood, she understands his feelings completely. She then still chooses Kaname, the one who has been lying to her for about half her life. I mean SERIOUSLY? Does the girl have any brains at all???

Furthermore, Yuuki was in love with Kaname the entire series so after realising his feelings it's only natural for her to choose him even though he lied to her (and he had his reasons).
