Description Meet P.B., the main character of "The Surf Club". Being a polar bear, he's originally from the Arctic, but at an early age he developed a taste for surfing, and took the tricky decision to swap his home for the warmer climate of Bonzer Beach, where he came across the Surf Club and a whole bunch of fellow surfer dudes.
Personality wise, P.B. is warm, philosophical and laid-back, just like your average surfer dude.

I'm finally getting a chance to backtrack through your older stuff since I first started watching you. I love this PB character, I don't know why, but I just do. This is a great comic idea and so far my favorite of your series of toons.

Thanks much man, I appreciate it. I've been drawing PB since secondary school, I just used to go and draw random characters on MS Paint during free periods, and PB was one of the characters to come out of that. I think I first drew PB in 2003, then paired him up with Greenie, and then came up with The Surf Club. And the rest, as they say, is history.

That is very interesting, I love how characters can just develop and it then becomes fascinating when you actually start developing them further and using them in more things. I've gone through quite a bit of that with Pierre and Andre and it's so much fun. After a while they become so much more than what they were in that first doodle, but we all have to start somewhere.

Thanks very much, man. I'd been drawing P.B. for some time now (since late on at school, in fact) before I came up with "The Surf Club" idea. In fact, I originally had P.B. and Greenie paired up as an adventurous duo, much like Bob & Flyer
