Going a little bit back to during “Valerie Meets Jake’s Parents", Gwen takes Valerie aside into the kitchen, she lets out all the raw emotion that she’s been hiding inside of her. She’s completely terrified for Jake being in the situation he’s currently in, and wishes she could help him, but of course, she doesn’t know anything about monsters and magic at all, so there’s nothing she can do to help him. But despite their fears, Gwen and Lawrence are very glad that Jake has made friends at this new school, friends that genuinely care about him and are looking out for him, especially Valerie.
