SO the two new legendary pokemon were revealed yesterday and immediately it was pointed out that they have different pride flag colors. not sure if that was intentional by gamefreak or if all the sexualities and genders these days have consumed every color palette. But since i had already drawn them it works to get the badge amirite?

Yes, I am still hoarding all the badges i can. even if i don't really agree with what it says. and I will tell you why if you care to listen~

One thing about the "Don't say gay" bill that is being ignored to make it seem like a bigger deal is that its only for the very young children. preschool children to be exact. children that still believe the easter bunny and santa and the toothfairy are real. children who don't need to know what sex is yet. let children be children. don't encourage them to "choose a gender". of course a child in the right circumstances is going to pick something not sis-gendered because they want to be accepted and loved just like everybody else. I know gender and sexuality has become the most important topic for many individuals, but please don't make that everything a kid has to think about too. that is sexualizing children and is creeping up on pedophilia being accepted. and i think all of us for now can agree that that's not ok.

I'm not saying that you people don't exist. Of course there's always people who struggle to accept themselves. we love and support you.

where the problem lies is when this is starting to create more people with problems. social media has already been linked to an increase in mental illnesses. People start to mimic what they consume. and if all you consume day in and out is about gender, of course you will be affected. Mental Illness is not something to be joked around with. Its not desirable.

there are people thrilled about their transition. but do not ignore the people who regret it and felt pressured to transition and regrets it later. Suicide is high in your community. mental illness is high in your community. I think you need to learn how to love those who are not happy who were part of your community. I've seen them receive so much hate for their Choice to go back to their original gender. even though they will never be the same because of the damages transitional surgery and hormones can do. Do not pretend they don't exist. stop the hate towards them.

I also want to touch on the topic of gender. Gender is not sexuality, yet it is put in the same name. think about a little sis boy. this boy likes to play with dolls and wear colorful things. does that make him a girl? NO. how about a little girl who likes wearing "boys colors" and action figures and cars. does that make her a boy? no. I think you all should think about breaking these stereotypes of BOY THINGS and GIRL THINGS. and also no need of making everything gender neutral either. let the children like what they want without it becoming their gender. break the stereotypes, not the genders.

Lastly i wanna talk about my experience. I feel different every day. One day i wanna dress up nicely, another day i just wanna wear my comfy worn out rags. one day i am productive, another day I'm lazy. one day i wanna draw, another day i wanna play games. one day i care extra for others, another day i just want to e left alone. one day i jump for joy, another day i cry myself to sleep. one day i feel more feminine and fragile, another day i feel masculine and strong. All this does not change my gender. If i was part of your community I would probably be "genderfluid" or something. but I'm not. I'm just a woman. my feelings don't change that fact. don't mix up what you like and what you are. Its ok to like things that are ment for another gender.

again i want to say that of course there are people who really struggle with all of this. You're valid. don't confuse yourself too much. ok? <3

For a community all about love; Stop hating yourself. You were born for a reason. life is tough sometimes. getting through that makes you stronger. Don't make yourself a Victim, take victory over your own life. seek the truth.
