Lowell and I decided to check out Santee Lakes next to his house, but we were thoroughly disappointed. Unlike Mast Park (a photo hot spot for me), you had to pay to get in (who charges admittance into a PARK??) and it was all man made and fake looking. There are four lakes and they are all perfectly oval. It was pretty lame.But none the less, I was able to get some photos. I think I'll stick with Mast Park though

Gaah, an ingrate. Those things are ABUNDANT where I live, and the little F#@KS ate all my koi fish!
