Well my boyfriend and I went camping for a couple of days. Our first taste of independence, responsibility, and living on our own. It was pretty neat. A very relaxing trip. So this collection is from William Heise Park in Julian. A great campground with numerous trails. Highly recommended!

Julian was one of the places devastated by the October wildfires of 2007. So much of the landscape was burnt and gray. Though this shot is heavily photoshopped, those bare naked trees covered our hiking trail.
