Why did typing '4th of July' remind me of ' Prince of Belair '? XDLate pic is lateeeeee and I have an even more late pic to do too x.X
I dont like how this turned out much, mostly because it was so annoying to color, the grass looks like crap, and well, I had to crop A LOT out o.O and I mean a lot xD
Thats why you see tiny pieces of that one pink firework in the left
Ya Cheri can have an american design. So whut. Her face is red on her nose and around eyes kinda thing, but on the left side of her face there is a white star on her eye. Ya her hair is about the same, but all red with white streaks.
K The reason for her weird color-ness is because since there are fireworks behind her, she should be dark and stuff
Well now that I look at it finished, I regret doing that 
I love how I drew her paws though XD And her hair~ But most of all I'm just glad I'm done

I love how you did the fireworks and the grass effect. 
I love Cheri's "American"-style design and the hat and flag are a nice touch. <3 The way you did the eye is just great, and I absolutely love how you shaded her! I love how you did her hair btw. <3
And yeah her paws do look good. <3
But ONE thing, yeah, is Kitten you really should take into consideration the lighting of the scene. You could've just dodged Cheri a little to symbolize the darkness of the night, and then maybe used a soft brush or something to add touches of highlights from the fireworks? Little things like that really add a nice effect.

But i did D: its just hard to see. But theres a lighter outline in the pic around her. and... ya I realised the fireworks thing, but totally went *waves hand dismissively* bleh 
But yes. I srsly do need to work on my lighting -o-
