this is also partially refering to how a lot of people claim to have a spirit animal that they love or is beautiful and majestic
please not: I do not personally beleive in spirit animals,
this is merely directed at wolfaboos who ALL think that theirs is a wolf

I don't think you get to choose. I've loved wolves all my life, and really hold a disliking for these 'wolfaboos' who claim to love them and yet hold no real appreciation for them.Β
Now, the trouble comes when I say that my own totem is a wolf. I never proclaimed this myself. Actually, I was extremely doubtful at first; everything fit, EVERYTHING, but it seemed too much of a coincidence.Β
I've had three seers tell me now, and I guess my inexplicable love for wolves was for a reason after all.
Anyway, all I wanted to say is that there are some of us out there who really do have a wolf totem, and really honestly want to be appreciated without the 'wolfaboo' label.
I don't flaunt it about - I DO NOT lie to make myself seem special, majestic, and all the rest of it. It's something I simply wouldn't do. In my opinion, having a cat - a mouse, a vole, any 'vermin' or, gee, I don't know, anything misconceived as 'lesser' as a totem is not any lesser than any other totem!!! They're equal.

Let me see what my spirit animal would be... I'm creative, good at problem solving, tend to take things moment to moment, fairly adaptable, into many different interests, fandoms, hobbies, and studies, all of which makes me good at talking to people, even if I happen to be reclusive at times. I don't like to be a leader, but I can handle it if someone has to give me the option...
I guess my spirit animal is a... palm tree? I seriously don't know this stuff. :V

Aw, spiders aren't all that bad.
If anything, they are VERY HARD workers. They spend a lot of time building a web. They are also very patient as they wait for their prey.
(Another good thing to think about is that we pretty much couldn't live without spiders. They, altogether, eat about 40% of the bug population. Without em' bug populations would go crazy! They would devour a lot of food and such. But it's ok, I understand if you have arachnophobia.

Sounds like me. If I had a spirit animal it would most certainly be a wolf.
That said, I prefer bears.

You sound more like a jackal or a coyote to me. They cheat and steal, live alone away from others, avoid danger, and they fight like hell-spawn when caught in a tough spot.
